If you believe that you were issued a parking ticket in error, you may appeal the ticket within twenty-one (21) days of issuance. You may download the Administrative Review Form below or you can obtain a Review form from the cashier's desk at City Hall, 601 Carmen Drive, weekdays from 8 AM to 5 PM. If you prefer, a form will be mailed to you if you call 388-5335 within 21 days of your receipt of the ticket. Once a ticket is in the appeal process, no further penalties accrue until the process has been completed. However, it is the responsibility of the person receiving the ticket to communicate to the City of Camarillo that they wish to appeal.
The first stage of appeal begins when the completed Administrative Review Form is mailed to the address on the form for review by the Camarillo Police Department. If the Police Department denies the appeal, you will be given the option of appearing before an Administrative Hearing Officer in Thousand Oaks. Prior to being given a hearing date and time, you must deposit with the City of Camarillo the full amount of the fine. If the Hearing Officer determines that your ticket should be dismissed, your deposit will be returned to you.

Parking ticket payments are due within twenty-one (21) days of the date of issuance. Payment may be made at the Cashier's desk in City Hall or mailed to the city at 601 Carmen Drive. If you mail your payment, be sure to mail it in time to be received by the city within the 21-day time limit.
