General Plan Amendment Referral Request Application
- It is anticipated that the City Council will consider the referral request submitted by New Urban West, Inc. at their meeting of September 27, 2017. The request is to allow for further study of the proposed amendment to the land use designation on 30 acres from Quasi-Public to Low-Medium Density Residential (30 dwelling units per acre maximum) on a portion of the Camarillo Springs Golf Course. The remaining 152 acres of the golf course property will remain as Quasi-Public for golf course use. The City Council has full discretion to either refer the reqeust for further study and allow processing and review of a General Plan Amendment or decline to refer the request.
