Ventura County Public Health Services provides information and services to all county residents, including citizens of Camarillo. It is the mission of Ventura County Public Health Services to promote healthy lifestyles and prevent and control disease, injury and disability through education and treatment and comprehensive health policies and practices. Services provided by the agency range from pregnancy testing and prenatal care programs to children's immunizations and testing, evaluation and treatment of communicable diseases such as tuberculosis and sexually transmitted diseases. There are four public health centers located in Ventura, Oxnard, Simi Valley and Santa Paula.
