4th of July Fireworks & Family Fun

Come join us Tuesday, July 4, from 4 to 9:30 p.m. for fireworks and family fun at Camarillo's 2017 Independence Day celebration at Adolfo Camarillo High School (ACHS), 4660 Mission Oaks Blvd. The event will feature live music, kids’ activities, and food, concluding with a special, 30-minute fireworks display that starts at 9 p.m. And you can live-stream the soundtrack on your mobile device by downloading the free “Pyro Spectaculars by Souza” app from your app store.

Purchase tickets now through July 3 at City Hall (601 Carmen Dr.), and at the Pleasant Valley Rec & Park District (PVRPD) office (1605 E. Burnley St.). Admission is $2 per person; children five years old and under are admitted free. On July 4 tickets may be purchased at the gate, which opens at 4 p.m. This is a smoke-free event. No alcohol, marijuana or other drugs, pets, or personal fireworks are allowed. All coolers will be inspected for alcoholic beverages.

Seating options include both home and visitor bleachers. Lawn seating/picnic area will be available on the football field. Please bring sweaters and blankets in case the weather turns chilly.  Free parking/shuttle service will be available at the Metrolink Station, 30 Lewis Rd. (enter on Dawson Dr. side) and in the Technicolor parking lot located at 3233 Mission Oaks Blvd. Shuttles run from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. For more details, call (805) 383-5696.
